The Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) has today published highlights of its 2017/18 annual plan launch event.

The half-day conference, which took place on 29 March 2017, was an opportunity for stakeholders across the payments industry to share their views on the PSR’s work programme and the strategic issues it will focus on over the next 12 to 18 months.

Hannah Nixon, Managing Director of the Payments Systems Regulator, said:

“This was an opportunity not only for attendees to find out more about what we have planned for the year ahead, but also an opportunity for us to hear feedback on our progress, understand stakeholder concerns and discuss broader industry topics.

“We were delighted with the turnout and grateful for all those able to attend and contribute. We will be using the information we gathered from delegates to help inform our thinking and our approach over the coming year.”

The Annual Plan and Budget for 2017/18 includes the PSR’s work programme for the year ahead, including a trio of new exploratory projects. The PSR has also produced a factsheet showing the key points of the programme.
